Environment Overview

Though smaller than most parks, the space is well-maintained with a soft sand-like ground that's gentle on paws. The runs are divided into separate sections for small and large dogs, and there’s usually a calm neighborhood vibe that makes it great for a casual play session or a quick energy burst.

Happy Melo

Our Daily Spot

Playhouse Village Dog Runs is part of Melo’s daily routine. We walk down the long pathway, the same one we’ve taken so many times, and Melo always speeds up with excitement as we get closer. I t’s familiar, cozy, and perfectly tucked into the heart of Pasadena—a quiet spot surrounded by trees and city life.

Happy Melo

Water Station

After dashing around the park, Melo always makes his way to the water fountain. It’s become part of his cool-down ritual—he trots over, tail wagging, and takes a few gulps from the lower dog-level spout. It’s such a small thing, but it feels like the park was made just for pups like him.

Happy Melo

Switch Spot

Even though Melo is a small dog, he loves the thrill of both sides. Sometimes he joins the small dog run for a chill time, then curiously wanders into the large dog section for a little adventure. It's like he sees the gates as different playgrounds—each with their own vibe and energy.
